Rural Sensitization Program
The Rural Sensitization Programme (RSP) is an immersive learning initiative by Shaheed Hospital, Dalli Rajhara, designed to explore the interconnectedness of people, health, and society in rural India.
Rooted in the hospital’s community-driven approach to healthcare, the programme offers participants an opportunity to engage with rural communities, understand the social determinants of health, and experience the realities of rural healthcare delivery.
Through community interactions, field visits, shared learning, and reflection, RSP encourages critical thinking about healthcare inequities, community participation, and the role of health professionals in building accessible, affordable, and equitable healthcare systems.
